If you have Diabetes, it is crucial to know your blood sugar numbers. Here are the basics:

Blood glucose goals for most people with diabetes when self-testing should be: 90 to 130 before meals and less than 180 about one to two hours after meals Self-tests are usually done before meals, after meals, and/or at bedtime People who take insulin usually need to test more often than those who do not take insulin
